Special League Rules : It’s time for our Play the Game Read the Story Boardgame Summer Championship! Now in it's third year, the championship will begin on June 1st and end August 29th. It will encompass the normal Tuesday evening boardgame events as well as six Sunday events. Each month our Tuesday events will be featuring a different boardgame. Play the featured game and receive 1 point. Then score additional points for placing in the top two depending on the number of players in the game. For a game with 3 to 4 players, winning the game earns you 2 points while placing second earns you 1 point. For a 5 to 6 player game, winning the game earns you 4 points while placing second earns you 2 points.

Our Sunday events will be run as tournaments with top finishers earning points. Each player will earn 3 points for playing. Placing in the top four, as long as there are eight or more players in the event, will earn you 2 points. Placing in the top two will earn you 5 points for second and 10 points for first.

Tuesday Boardgame Events
1 point for playing
Winning----+2 or 4 (based on players)
Second-----+1 or 2 (based on players)

Sunday Boardgame Events
3 points for playing
First Place-------------------+10 points
Second Place---------------+5 points
Third and Fourth Place---+2 points each
(minimum of 8 players)

First Place--------------------$100 Gift Certificate
Second Place----------------$50 Gift Certificate
Third and Fourth Places--$25 Gift Certificate each
Fifth - Eighth------------------$10 off any $25 or more purchase
