Every summer Play the Game brings you the Yu-Gi-Oh Summer Championship! This summer will be no different! Gear up for one of the best Yu-Gi-Oh summers ever! Earn great prizes just for playing in events you already come to! Every Yu-Gi-Oh event held at the store will automatically enter you into the championship and earn you points! As you play in more events you will earn points toward your final total, the more points the better!

First Place	$400 Gift Card or Three booster boxes of the next set.
Second Place	$300 Gift Card or two booster boxes of the next set.
Third and Fourth Place	$200 Gift Card or one booster box of the next set
Fifth through Eighth	$50 Gift Card or 6 booster packs of the next set.
Recruiter Award	Bring in the most new players and get $50 in card game supplies!

New Player Rewards!

Bring in a new player (either new to Yu-Gi-Oh or not in our players data base) to a constructed event and receive a free booster and the new player plays for free! Both players will receive 2 Summer Champ points!

Point earnings structure:
Most of the Summer Champ points earned at each event will be based on attendance. However, some of the events we run will be worth more than normal points! On the chart you can see how many points you will earn for doing well in the event. All players must play out round one to earn any points.

On Sunday events, not only will you earn the points above, but for each match you win, you will also earn a point!

For example, if 18 players play in a regular Advanced tournament, first place would earn 6 points (4 for winning and 2 for playing). However, if the event were a double point tournament, the points for that event are all doubled! So the winner of that event would earn 12 points (4x2 for winning and 2x2 for playing). There will be double and triple point events throughout the summer!
Sunday events will earn normal points as above, but players will also earn points for each time they win a match! So if a player wins 5 rounds and makes the top 8 cut and wins the tournament, that player will have earned 14 (2 for playing, 8 for winning 8 matches, and 4 for winning the tournament) points in one day! The more you win the more you earn!
