Magic PAR Progam May 20, 7:27pm
The Magic PAR Program is designed to introduce new players into Magic: the Gathering as well as keep veteran players looking for more! As a new Planeswalker to the Magic multiverse, this program will help a player earn free stuff, like booster packs and foil promo cards. For veteran Planeswalkers, this program is set up as a way to continue enjoying magic and introduce you to different formats. All PAR-takers in the program will have the chance to win free stuff just for playing Magic. PAR is a free program and open to Planeswalkers of all ages, skill level and deck size! (It sounds funny but when you win something for having the deck with the most cards in it, it will be even better!)
The PAR list of achievements can be found on the website in the Magic P.A.R Program section. A player can complete any number of achievements at any time. They must be completed here at the store. Each achievement can only be done once per person unless otherwise stated. There isn’t a time limit in which they must be completed. For example, one of the achievements is “Attend five Wednesday Night Magic Open Play Sessions.” Someone can complete this by coming five weeks in a row, or he/she could come once a month five times. The progress is tracked here in the store on your PAR progress sheet. In order to receive credit for an achievement, the player must have a staff member confirm and record it on the progress sheet. The achievements span a wide range of fun and tournament style objectives, like build an Elder Dragon Highlander deck or win 10 tournament matches. For the veteran players there is even a “Teach a New Player” achievement. There are plenty of achievements to do in the program and we will always be adding more.
As players complete achievements, they will receive rewards. The rewards range from foil promo cards to booster packs, as well as coupons. The harder the achievement the greater the reward! The more achievements a player completes the more free stuff he/she earns!
Come one in and get signed up today! Its free!!

EDH League comes to Play the Game May 20, 6:54pm
Every Tuesday night, join us for the EDH League! Elder Dragon Highlander, or more commonly know as EDH is 100 card singleton with special rules. Each month players will have the opportunity to earn points every Tuesday night in EDH four player pods. There will be two rounds of pods, one at 6:00pm and one at 8:00pm. Anyone can enter either or both pods. As you play you can earn and lose points. One of the goofy ways you can earn points are by having a permanent from all the sets in a single block out at the same time. Other ways to earn points include, killing a player with by General Damage, and being like last one alive in a pod. There are tons of ways to gain points and a few ways to lose points. If you Armageddon all the lands in play (evil eyes on you), be prepared to lose 2 points. The top players each month will have all sorts of prizes to pick from including, free tournament entry, booster packs, limited edition products and cards as well as store credit. Official league details, points and prizes can be found on the website in the Leagues/Championship section.
